| Overview | To celebrate its 20th Birthday, Auntie Anne's® Pretzels is launching What a Difference a Family Makes: A New Twist on Giving Back, a grant program and nationwide search for families who make their communities better places, and will reward 20 families with grants up to $20,000 to use toward their philanthropic work. |

| Entry Period and Method | Nominations will be accepted February 2 through April 4, 2008. Families will be able to nominate themselves, or be nominated by others, by completing an application form available on www.aTwistOnGivingBack.com. All applications must be postmarked on or before April 4, 2008 and received on or before April 9, 2008. No purchase is necessary to win. |

| Eligibility | - Contest is open to families composed of persons who are legal residents of, and physically located within, the 50 United States and District of Columbia, void where prohibited.
- At the time of entry, at least one member of the entering family must be 18 years of age or older or the age of majority in his/her state of residence, whichever is older.
- For the purposes of this program, each entering family must consist of at least two individuals who are related in some way (i.e., intergenerational/blood relationships, domestic partners, and/or legally-recognized family relationships).
- The related individuals do not need to live in the same household to be deemed a "family."

| Judging | All entries will be reviewed by a qualified panel of judges approved by Auntie Anne's on the basis of passionate dedication to giving back in their communities, as demonstrated by: - Level of involvement (amount of time spent and years of service)
- Overall community impact
- Strength of initiative (process of seeking giving back opportunity)

| Prizes | - One $20,000 grant will be given to the grand prize-winning family to support its volunteer efforts
- Nineteen finalists will also be selected and each will receive a grant of $2,000
|

| Writing the Book on Giving | The 20 families chosen as grant recipients will also have an opportunity to share their stories and real-life examples to spread the giving to others by contributing to a "20 Ways to Give Back" e-book developed by Auntie Anne's. Other members of the public will also have a chance to contribute to the book at local events at Auntie Anne's stores around the country in February and March. The e-book will be available to the public in late May for download at www.aTwistOnGivingBack.com. |
